Part:BBa_K2912002:Design
Designed by: Lingling Liao Group: iGEM19_SZU-China (2019-09-08)
RebC may be involved in the modification process of forming the R bodies
Assembly Compatibility:
- 10COMPATIBLE WITH RFC[10]
- 12COMPATIBLE WITH RFC[12]
- 21COMPATIBLE WITH RFC[21]

- 25COMPATIBLE WITH RFC[25]
- 1000COMPATIBLE WITH RFC[1000]
Design Notes
The third ORF, rebC, extends from base 1393 through 1563. The initiation codon for rebC is preceded by a possible RBS GGGA (bases 1378 to 1381). The probable -10 promoter sequences, TATTAT (bases 1363 to 1368). The rebC gene utilizes the TAG stop codon, and transcriptional termination appears to be rho dependent.
Source
This part is one of the DNA sequences for the R body locus (reb) from Caedibacter taeniospiralis and the sequence is from gene bank.
